aprevida began where many meaningful journeys begin — with people who had experienced loss and felt compelled to create something that could help others facing the same path.
Stephen Dorsey and Donna MacMullin are friends, colleagues, and the co-founders behind aprevida. Their stories are different. Their reason for building this is the same.
Stephen Dorsey
Founder and CEO
Stephen is a marketing and technology leader who has spent his career building platforms that connect people in meaningful ways. When loss came to his own family, he turned that experience into something lasting. aprevida is built on the belief that the people we love should still be able to show up for us, even after they’re gone.
Donna MacMullin
Co-founder and CMO
Donna is a brand strategist with experience across journalism, design, and marketing. Her path to aprevida was shaped by two deeply personal experiences: surviving breast cancer, and losing her mother to Alzheimer’s. She built aprevida because she knows firsthand what it means to wish you'd had more time.
